Childhood Cancer Panel
Our Childhood Cancer Panel enables differentiation of four types of small round blue cell tumors, which are histologically similar but difficult to diagnose. In collaboration with NCI, and based on work of Dr. Javed Khan, AltheaDx has developed a diagnostic panel that has a sensitivity of 99.2% and a specificity of 99.7%. CLIA validation is in process.

Prostate Cancer Diagnostics: Tumor Presence Assay
AltheaDx’s Prostate Cancer Panel is a diagnostic test that can be used to confirm cancer in ambiguous cases, providing pathologists with means to analyze atypical features in core biopsies. Our test allows more accurate determination of percent tumor tissue in the biopsy sample used for the test, a key factor in diagnosis of prostate cancer. This test has a 100% PPV with 98% overall accuracy.

Prostate Cancer Prognostic Test
Our Prostate Cancer Prognostic Test can be used to predict non-recurrent versus recurrent/aggressive prostate cancer. These diagnoses tend to be based on highly subjective interpretations, resulting in over-treatment of patients. While 75% of prostate cancer cases are treated as aggressive, in reality only 20% are aggressive; thus a large percentage of men receive unnecessary treatments.
